My journey started in the kitchen
My journey began in the kitchen, where creativity was always central. As a chef, I focused not just on flavors, but on presentation, atmosphere, and inventive dishes. Gradually, I realized my passion went beyond cooking. I wanted to shape ideas and tell stories, experimenting with filming and design along the way.
That feeling became too strong to ignore.
I took a gap year to pause and reflect. During that time, I traveled to Hawaii. Between surfing and exploring, I gained clarity. I discovered what truly drives me: telling stories that guide and connect people.
The creative sprak
I started a film company where I created stories for entrepreneurs, artists, and creative projects both professional and passion-driven. Storytelling was always at the heart of it.
The beginning of Van Beek Studios
During my CMD studies, everything fell into place. My love for storytelling remained, but I discovered how powerful design is in enhancing a story. From this conviction, Van Beek Studios was born: a studio where stories are central and brought to life through film, design, and everything else needed always tailored to what the story requires.

Van Beek Studios was born from a simple realization: beautiful visuals alone are not enough. There needed to be more a layer that connects, moves, and lingers. That “more” turned out to be the story.
